The 2024 Annual Research Forum of The Linguistic Society of Hong Kong

The Linguistic Society of Hong Kong (LSHK) cordially invites abstracts for the 2024 Annual Research Forum (ARF2024), which will be co-organized by the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Hong Kong Shue Yan University. As is customary ARF practice, there will be parallel sessions, and papers related to any area of linguistics are welcome. Every paper will be allotted 20 minutes for oral presentation, followed by discussion. Please note that a paper presenter should be an LSHK member. Abstract submission
ARF2024 will be held on campus at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Each member is maximally entitled to one single-author presentation plus one joint presentation. Abstracts can be written in Chinese or English. One submission should be limited to one A4 page and be saved in the form of DOC/DOCX or PDF format. All submissions must be anonymous for review and be submitted via lshkarf2024@gmail.com

Proposal for theme-based parallel session
Members who would like to propose a theme-based parallel session are welcome to send a proposal (maximum two pages) to the LSHK Executive Committee at excom@lshk.org, specifying the theme and the format of the session and target participants. The deadline for panel proposals and abstracts is Oct. 16, 2024.
